I am tired of being sick. I have a voice now but it's not my real voice. It's strained and deep, and talking too much makes me cough. And my throat hurts. I want to whine and whine and whine. I'm tired of being tired. It's 11pm on a Friday and I'm ready to pack up and go to Jen's to sleep. I'm dreading the energy it will take to do the dishes. Coughing so much has made my tongue hurt.

BUT...

Tomorrow I will put on new clothes and see a good friend get married. And then my girl and I will take a road trip and pay homage to a home she knows well and I'm only acquainted (but with good memories). And we will see 2 of my favorite East Coast things: the ocean and my Jodie.

I got out of work at 2:00. And I engaged in some retail therapy tonight. While at Best Buy, I picked up Serial Mom and As Good As It Gets. Brandie came over and watched the latter with us, and we ordered pizza. It was the first real food I've eaten since Tuesday. I bought a little gift for my juliann, something to remind her that we've not /totally/ grown apart. And I got a hawt haircut. I'm /cute/!

Early next week, I will mail everyone their crayons. technodyke, if you want one, I need some sort of mailing address.

After tomorrow morning, I'll be offline until Monday night. If you want me, you've got to cluck the chicken. BAWK!

Yunno, I thought your hair looked different, but I wasn't positive, and I would've felt like a dork if I was like "Hey! Cute haircut!" and you were like "Um, I didn't get it cut." It *does* look super cute.
