Gah - I've never felt anything like this. It's like, my stomach feels like it is empty and digesting itself /all the time/. I mean, even while I am stuffing my face! And then, in the middle of the night, I get these terrible, hungry pains in my stomach, and heartburn, and dear gods, how am I going to stand 6 more days?

Ugh!

Don't. I told my doctor about it and she took me off it immediately. Antibiotics shouldn't cause such pain. I know the exact feeling and it's horrid. :(

I hate hate hate Biaxin. It makes me all kinds of ill and leaves this super nasty ass taste in my mouth that won't go away the entire time I'm taking it. I called and fought and made them change it. Evil medication.

The ENT doctor gave me a really great tip on the metallic taste: chocolate milk. It really cuts the ick.

However, I learned last night that if I drink PBR, I don't even have a sore stomach all night. SCORE!

That's beer. That would be like trying to get rid of the vomit taste in your mouth by drinking puke.

And, I can't drink milk. Boo. It doesn't even taste good to me anymore when I try to drink it.

Yes, Pabst. I don't know how it worked, but it DID! I slept all night without waking up with a hole in my stomach, I haven't had the metallic taste, and heck, I haven't even felt all that hungry.

(Either that or I'm starting to get used to the Biaxin. But I'd rather celebrate the Pabst.)
