I just went through all of the emails from last year's job search. All I can say is: I /so/ don't want to start job searching again. Ugh.

Ugh. I remember my own experience just over a year ago. I applied for over 200 jobs over the internet and through agencies and it still took me almost two months to land one. This economy sucks. -_-

I hear ya. I hated going through the grad school application process for PhD programs a few months ago, since I felt like I was still recovering from the application process I'd gone through with the MA. I just hate selling myself...it makes me feel dirty. [As Jane Lane would say, "the bad kind of dirty."]

Thanks! I don't mind selling myself so much, it's just that I've already applied at practically all of the social service agencies in C-bus. And now I have to resubmit to all of them again, when they didn't hire me last time.

Mail, fax, and phone all have the potential to work. Networking works. Email doesn't do shit.

I sent emails and followed them up with mail. I have copies of all of the emails (so I could remember what I applied for).
