What's the point?

I really don't feel like going into work. I probably say that every Monday, but as of now, all I can think of is, "What's the point?" I have appointments with people (because we were assigned cases last week. Once again I ask, "What's the point?"), and they probably won't show, since they already know there is no more case management after the 30th. I feel like my day would be much more productive if I could finish my resume, clean my apartment, and call apartment ads. Instead, I'm going to go to work and sit there and feel indifferent. Yay.

And it's my late day, which means that while I could be out having fun with my smurfbrother, I will be sitting at work. Whee. At least I have that weird book I got at the Vic Village neighborhood sale for 25 cents. This morning I read a story about a young woman with a parasitic partial twin attached to her lower half. She had a belly and legs hanging from her belly. She fell in love with a doctor, and the doctor had sex with her other vagina.

Definitely worth 25 cents.

I too will be feeling rather useless through much of this week. I'm estimating maybe 5 clients will show for appointments and 10 will drop in.

Any suggestions for dinner Saturday? My rents are vegetarian, but in a slack-ass way, just like us. Dragonfly would be too expensive, anything below that level is OK.

I had 2 kept appointments today, and one of them wasn't kept at the time, but since no one showed between 2 and 5, I was able to "fit him in." I wonder what today will look like. It's hella frustrating.

Dinner on Saturday... good question. I'm glad you asked, because it reminded me about it. Hrm. Is there a genre of food you had in mind? I'm not terribly fond of Indian or Ethiopian. Aladdin's is always good and full of veggie yumness. Umm... umm... hrm.
