Late afternoon midwestern blues

The music is on
but I don't feel the cheese
as it oozes through the speakers
like coagulated emotion.
I've got
academic hangover
and I still have another class tonight,
two papers down
and I need to make a mask
that represents me
to complete this course.
But how can I make them understand
that I'm not like them,
that I don't hide
and this is LITTLE NAKED ME
and I am fucking ready for ANYTHING
but I'm not sure I'm ready for tomorrow.

Because if anyone makes you sad, you're going to let me know. I have to practice my Spinning Backkick O' Death, and I need targets.

Because if you need someone to talk to, there are TONS of people that read your LJ and will give you as much cheering up and support and strong shoulders to cry on as you need.
