Why didn't she choose Duckie?
Jul. 15th, 2003 10:51 amThe Girl says I post too much now that I'm unemployed. Whee!
So far today, I've changed my address everywhere I'd neglected to before (various colleges, high school, etc.). I checked the Health Department's website to see what times I can get a TB test (required for the new job). I spoke to my former supervisor about the vacation pay mixup, and she's going to look into it. I've cleared everything off the kitchen counter so they can install a dryer vent (!!!). I paid the credit card bill for the movers last month. I made the bed. I filed old papers. I returned a call to the prosecutor's office about my stolen wallet. And it's not even 11am! Maybe I'll even go get the TB test today.
Jennifer and I are on a mission to eat at home as much as we can, in order to save money. We don't have a lot of different foods in the house at the moment, though, so that makes it interesting. Last night, I made a bag of frozen pasta and hot dogs (turkey for her, veggie for me). Dude, I am such a bachelor. I could never cook as well as
pattisimmons or
whirledpeas.
I think tonight is Sekrit Date Night. And I think Sean promised to cook me Velveeta Shells and Cheese. Not sure.

Date: 2003-07-15 11:13 am (UTC)Does this mean I could make it as a beef soup or a poultry soup or a veggie soup? Because if it's everything, that would be YUCK, but if I can make veggie soup, that would be a big fat YAY! Share!
I am definitely pro-mealstretching. I think I'll make a big vat of pasta salad soon that we can eat for eons.
