Can't sleep, clowns will eat me.
Jul. 24th, 2003 12:27 pmSo yesterday I didn't get any sleep, because we didn't get back from Kinko's until after 4am, and then I was wired, so I probably drifted off around 6am. And the alarm went off at 8 so Jen could go to work. I'm not very good at falling back asleep.
I was tired all day, but I didn't think much of it. I was going to take a nap, but Bucky called and wanted me to come volunteer with him, so I walked over there instead. When I got back from there, my knees were on fire. I figured it was the combination of the weather and the lack of sleep - both things are really hell on my knees. But by the time Jen and I were headed to the car dealership, my throat started to hurt. Great.
I fell asleep last night around 11:30pm and slept until 3am, when I woke up for no good reason, and was unable to fall back asleep. So when the alarm went off at 8am, my knees were still in agony, along with my right ankle. I /never/ wake up in pain. Sleep is the cure-all. Ugh. So I took a bunch of Advil and drove her to work, and went to get my TB-free card, and came back to take a nap.
Except that I can't sleep in the daytime. I'm going to keep trying, though, because I have to babysit at 6:30. My brain is trying to psych me out from sleeping by reminding me about the post office and the laundry and all of that.
So far, though, my knees are still holding out since the Advil at 8am. Thank goodness for that.
And I'm feeling guilty, because the one car Jen /really/ likes only comes with leather seats. And I have a HUGE problem with leather - the feel of it bugs me, and the smell makes me want to vomit. So now I'm screwing with her car-buying plan. Bleh.
