Havana

Wrapped up a decent day by catching Tara and Geanna at Havana. Neither Jen nor I had ever been there before. It was loud and full of boys, but I liked it.

Besides, I love anywhere where I can press myself against Jennifer's chest while she breathes into my ear, and no one bats an eyelash.

We only stayed for one drink - T&G were headed to Wall, but Jen wasn't feeling great so we headed home. I would have gone along if they were going to another bar instead of a dance club, but I didn't want to watch people close dancing without having my best girl handy. Phooey. We stopped at Sean and Bart's place, but no one was home.

I think we're going to go "for a drive" tomorrow. I don't usually do that, so I have no idea where to go. My first thought was Kentucky, since I've never been there, but Jen doesn't want to go there. Maybe Athens - I've never been there, either. Anyone wanna road trip?

If you go to Athens, you can stop by Sonic and buy fresh lime slushes. The girl an I have made a trip to Athens just for that because that's the closest Sonic.

I wish she didn't work today. We *love* road trips.

Oh my gosh, I haven't been to a Sonic since I worked at summer camp in New Mexico. I love those lime slushes! Mmmmmm.

Maybe when she's not working we can go drive somewhere. That would be fun! :) I tried to call you two Friday night to see if you wanted to do something, but you were out. Poop.

I actually asked TheCouple if they wanted to go to your area (1/2 graduated from a college in Oberlin) and we're drafting a possible trip all over that area.

But, always, Jennifer and you are welcome here. We do good drag shows and Pride in the Triangle is kinda cool :) and where else can you get fresh fruit from a fresh fruit at a roadside stand?

It's 9ish hours to your neck of the woods from here. If we were ever going to do it, I'd have to learn to stop double-booking our long weekends. Heh.

I'm trying to sell her on driving to Atlanta for our birthday (approx. Columbus Day weekend). You should go, too. :)

Yes, we should definitely do something, I think, I think. I love to road trip and it doesn't even matter where, as long as it's fairly cheap. (Yay unemployment!)

Someday I will work again, and will have to work around a work schedule. The Girl works 9-6 so your schedule isn't far off.
