OH MY GOD! That's sooooo cute.

And, that amount of money wouldn't get you a 1 bedroom condo in my neighborhood. *sniffle*

Well, this particular neighborhood is not a good neighborhood. Back in the history of Columbus, Olde Towne East was where lots of wealthy people lived and built big houses. As time passed, and the houses passed to the next generations, they couldn't keep up.

It's becoming terribly gentrified, and soon none of the original residents will be able to afford to live there, as new people buy the old homes, fix them up, and claim the neighborhoods as Historic Land.

But gah, to have all that beautiful hardwood goodness for $110K? *droooool*

Completely!!

Egads, though, for that money....

Have you thought of moving to Missouri? I'm telling you, the houses Tom could hook you up with here!!!!

ACRES of land, big houses...rolling houses...

And the token cow, perhaps?

OH DEAR GOD, WOMAN!

I don't want land, I want TALL BUILDINGS I CAN LEAP IN A SINGLE BOUND! I would absolutely and positively DIE DIE DIE where you live. I would feel so isolated and overwhelmed. Let's not forget the part about being stared at by every cow in the neighborhood! ;)

(And if you think THAT'S pricey, you should try looking for homes in Boston!)

*grins*

Cows are very accepting critters, I'll have you know. Offer a calf a finger to suckle, and he'll be your friend for life. Give some grain to a grown cow...same thing.

Besides, just think of all the strange things you can do on land where no one would be able to see!!!!

I mean....Really bizarre things...

Um...

I live in town, btw. No bizarre here. Nope.

Okay, it's like this:

It's basically a mockery of Alan Greenspan, and all of his text is in 1337-speak (like the old hackers used back in the day)... I can't even explain why it's funny, really, but it cracks me up.

Especially when they make fun of other people, too, like Bono.

You two should come down to one of our many agrarian festivals and have your picture made in their respective standups. Dude! There's a coffee table book idea: Pics of y'all in various picture standups from different festivals and events. I would so get a coffee table just to put that on. Word.

Oh my goodness - that would be so kitsch it would be FANTASTIC.

But I get scared at agrarian festivals.

That picture is nearly obscene, isn't it?

I mean...it's clear what that worm, with the devilish grin, has in mind for that poor, poor tomatoe!!

Unsuspecting Tomatoe!

i find something a little wrong with 5 bedrooms and 1.5 baths... but the house is adorable and so are the tomato and worm (that is a worm right???)

From: [identity profile] judecorp.livejournal.com
Oh, I'll show you my worm, baby.

(I think the 5BR thing is probably a typo or a miscommunication. I think they probably count the "sun room" and perhaps the finished third floor/attic...)

From: [identity profile] grrrrrindigo.livejournal.com
"miscommunication"... like the 3 bedroom place we looked at in town that was really more like maybe 2 bedrooms and a mini den area... (with no closet) ...

Yeah... right.

*looks for worm*

Is that an evil smiling tomato at the right corner of the diorama~like~thing?

That house is strangely cheap.

I do believe the tomatoes were supposed to be people who were shocked and stuff, but I could be wrong. Too bad they didn't have Q&A with the artist!

It's cheap because it's in the 'hood, baby.
