It's so amusing to me that I don't really like sitting home alone all day doing nothing, but lately I can't get up the energy to do anything else. You would think that I would have all this time to go
geocaching or walking or biking or gods-know-what, but here I sit in the house doing nothing. I can't even say that I've read more books that usual, because I started increasing my reading before I lost my job. I haven't read all that many books, though, but I /did/ read Female Masculinity which was much heavier than a book that I would read on my lunch hour or whatever. Blah blah blah, I'm boring.
Kelly Bunny came over earlier to drop off the cat carrier that she borrowed, and I convinced her to come inside and see the apartment. She thinks it is a "grownup" apartment, and I'm inclined to agree with her. It's funny because my last apartment was definitely a kidlike bachelor pad, and this one seems more serious. That's good in some ways because I like how it looks, but bad because I have a box full of unpacked toys and I don't know where to put them, because I don't want to spoil the grownup-ness! Augh!
I now have a dinner date with
Sarah (sheesh! how many Jens and Sarahs do I know?) at Crap City TM, and then I might watch the premiere of Survivor. I've never seen an episode of Survivor. Heck, I never really watch television, but perhaps Gay TV night with
Peas is rubbing off on me. GIVE ME THAT REALITY GOODNESS! Yes, I am becoming middle America. Soon I'll start saying 'pop' and then you can beat me senseless.
Congratulations to
Missie and her Ellen on their engagement! YAY!
