Wow, that whole "not going to stress" thing seems to really have worked! Guess whose fingerprint card /finally/ came in today (complete with a misspelled name)? Guess who is going to work on Monday? (Hint: They are the same person.)

Yes, that would be ME! It's about frickin' time! And now, even if I /hate/ this job that I've been waiting three months for, at least I have the peace of mind of knowing that they weren't stringing me along aimlessly. That makes me feel better regardless, because every time a lot of time would go by with no communication, I would wonder if they'd hired someone else and just didn't want to tell me.

So, wow... I have to go to work on Monday. I guess I'd better take care of as much house business as I can before then.

Oh yeah... and LOOK WHAT I GOT! (I know, I know, now I have to DO something with it.)

Well, I'm a blessed with a pretty cool mom, and I realized a long time ago that there was no point in pretending to be someone else to my mom. I know its a blessing and I am very thankful for it.

Well, I don't pretend to be someone else for my mom... but I think I write some things that she probably wouldn't want to read. After all, sometimes I write about my sex life, and why would my mom want to know? EW! :)

I hope it didn't sound like I meant that you do that. I certainly don't think that you do. I just mean sometimes we present "flatter pictures" of ourselves to some people. That's all. :-)
