Okay, so there is a problem at work - there is always too much free candy. I know some of you are saying, 'There is no such thing as too much free candy,' but let me assure you, there is. Trust me on this. I am currently a sugared-up mess.

You see, the receptionist has this big basket of candy that is supposedly for the kids who come in. And we're not talking little bits of candy or anything - we're talking whole candy things. And since I have to pass that basket every time I sign in or out of the building, I have filled my life with candy. I need a 12-step program.

You see, this morning, I signed in and took minimal candy - three little starbursts, a piece of gum, and a lollipop. I went to lunch and didn't take any candy, but on the way BACK, I snagged a big snickers bar /and/ a package of skittles. And I ate the snickers, and planned to save the skittles for another day. (I want to hoarde candy in my desk drawer.)

Nope. I just ate the skittles, and now I feel like I'm going to THROW UP. The inside of my mouth is all chewed up from the skittles, and I just keep drinking more and more water. I have to stop with the candy, though, or I'm going to make myself sick. And insanely fat.
