So the director of the Columbus Women's Chorus emailed me (I had inquired about open rehearsals) and said, "Well, you can just come tonight, we're learning new stuff!"

Eeek! I don't even have any time to psych myself up! Do I go? Do I not go? Gah, I have anxiety issues.

I used to really like singing in church choir when I was a kid. Then I sort of fell out of it, and always wanted to get back in, but it was out of my comfort zone.

When A. and I first got together, I was singing in the car one day and he made some sort of flippant comment that I took really personally, and now it's hard for me to even sing in the car. I'm hoping to get over it, and I think a "trial by fire" might be just what I need.

I like it when you sing. Very much. In the mornings it makes me smile. So you know.

I am very self conscious when I even sing in the car....so I understand a bit. I will try to not let my foot enter my mouth in regards to this ever.

Please don't hide. I can't hear you very well and I don't hang out around teh bathroom to hear you - you know? I just somtimes catch a phrase or two and it makes me smile. And I have heard you when we have travelled as well....

Well, okay, as long as it's not you scratching at the bathroom door, I suppose it's okay.

I've actually gotten quite a bit better about it. Especially since you've never said anything mean to me in the car, and you like to sing along, too!
