Last night I had a dream that I had a human baby, a baby chick and a kitten.

All day long I dream of having a different job and a house.

so frustrating to work your way through your masters and then get offered a job for 25k (which you could have gotten in another field with a GED) .. i was looking for jobs in boston and i can't even figure out how people can live off of 25k. arrrgh. exploitation. what a screwed up economy we live in

I hear ya, honey. I haven't broken $30K yet (although my freaking coworker has - ARGH!), and looking at jobs and salaries was the reason I didn't relocate to Boston or NYC in the first place after graduation.

Now I can look into it more seriously, though, because it's more likely that Jennifer will make better money.

Looking at their website, I imagine they put "men" because almost all of the other staff members are women... and maybe they want Big Gay Role Models or something.

And I would never live in Providence. I would move south of Boston or something.

oh, poo. there are enough gay rolemodels, look at the tv. zero lesbians, but a gay male couple on every other show.

the neuropsych department that i work in is made up entirely of women. it's awesome. it'd be better if they weren't mostly straight...
