Hump Day

I'm definitely on the first end of the hump right now. Maybe later I'll be up and over, but for now, I'm just generally blah. The prospect of three more days of work seems so daunting when just a minute ago, Jennifer's cheek was against mine as she was kissing me goodbye. The smell of her freshly-showered skin was intoxicating, and I murmured, "Can't we just stay home and be together?" Little wishes, paper dreams. I long to play hooky, but have neither the sick time nor the job stability to do so. I suppose, here in the beginning, I should save sick calls for when I'm actually sick.

I would like to get my health insurance stuff straightened out. Preferably before my doctor's appointment, s'il vous plait.

I think some people take life way too seriously. There are so many big things to focus one's intense energy on. LiveJournal shouldn't be one of them, I don't think. It's a great medium, but that's all it is: my own personal digital playground. Won't you come out and play?

Oh, and here's a RAH RAH for all of my friends doing NaNoWriMo. You're almost halfway there! GO! GO! GO! GO! Power Ten in two: One! TWO!

You can look at it this way. At least you don't have my job. I work noon till nine tuesday through saturday. I'm working both days everyone goes out to play. :-(
