No, what made it was Rupert and Christa (and I didn't see who else, because it was a quick shot) celebrating that he was voted out. And Sandra grinning back at them. We cheered for that move more than the vote. :)
last night was the first time i'd watched it, but i love how jon was all, "these women are foolish. if they were smart they'd figure that they could get us guys out of here. they're doing nothing for women's rights..." blah blah blah.
Welcome to the Survivor cult! I wish I'd seen this before today to get your thoughts on who wins tonight. I have a feeling it'll be Darrah. Johnny "Fairplay" will be gone first if he doesn't get the first immunity. And he really needs to get the boot. I think Darrah will be seen as the least offensive one left. I don't think Sandra has a chance, unless it's her and "Fairplay" at the end. Then it's the same sort of choice between "bad" and "worse" as the first Survivor had when it was down to Richard and Kelly (I have the first series' highlights on DVD if you ever want to borrow it, BTW). Anyhow, I give Darrah about 5 chances in 10 of winning, Lill 3 in 10, and Sandra and Johnny 1 in 10 each.
I haven't watched the finale yet. We taped it last night but I didn't get back to Columbus until midnight. We're hoping to watch it tonight, so HUSH on the details. :) Although I will say that I think your analysis of odds is a good one.
I might have to check out these DVDs of yours, now that I've become a Survivor-holic.
