I suppose I could fill a bunch of screens with a woeful lamenting of my return trip from New York, but a) my Jennifer has already covered the bulk of it, b) I already emailed a complaint to Delta, and c) it's winter, and how many winter travel aggravation stories do I really need in my journal? It wasn't nearly as bad as last Christmas's debacle with the elements, so I'll let you imagine the scenario. Choice tidbits: oodles of misinformation, and a jailbreak in Kentucky from my girl and 356dreamer. (Speaking of, hey Steve, I tried to email you but your Yahoo! email is full.)

The weather and the travel situation yesterday left me with a lot of time to think about life, the universe, and everything, so you can probably expect something long, introspective, and tinged with angst in the near future. For now, though, I must rustle up some grub and head to chorus. At least I can hear this week.

This weekend I missed lorac's birthday, and today is thespian's birthday. I can't believe I've known these two lovely Sagittarii since I was 17 frickin' years old. Happy birthday, old friends. Thanks for keeping me around and helping me grow.
