Holidays are BUSY! No time to write. We've received so many wonderful holiday cards so far, so THANK YOU to every single one of you who has graced our mailbox! There are so many cute cards on our entertainment center!

However, the BEST CARD AWARD is currently going to [livejournal.com profile] aventurine. (Imagine pubic hair shaved and dyed to look like a Christmas tree.) It is AWESOME! Yay, Ashlee! (p.s. Is it yours?)

I got my Internet Secret Santa present yesterday - The Day I Swapped My Dad For Two Goldfish by Neil Gaiman! YAAAAAAAY!

You have to get Aventurine's card on-line somehow. My mental visual is probably still a far cry of the incredible reality.

And I could be way off...but is that the same Neil Gaiman that did the Sandman "graphic novel" series? Because he is just plain incredible.

And thank YOU for the card! Made me and Melis smile.

Christmas rocks. Melis is a Christmas baby: bonus.

1. I will scan the card but I will ask [livejournal.com profile] aventurine's permission first.

2. Yes, the same Neil Gaiman and I am so madly in love with his stuff. (Not the Sandman stuff as much as his novels and short stories.)

3. You're welcome.

4. Melis rocks. Christmas rocks. YOU ROCK TOO!

Holy shitballs, that's something else. Is it wrong that it turns me on as much as it does? That's just...I don't even know what.

I'm going to be quiet now.

I haven't finished looking through the book yet, but it looks AWESOME so far. (Of course, I am a big Gaiman nut.)

yeah, i know. it's a big let down when everyone finds out. maybe next year i'll just take a picture of my own sadly plain crotch and mail it out to satisfy everyone.

i was thinking after i wrote this that my crotch is not sadly plain at all. in fact, it's quite bespangled. unfortunately to really see all that, next year's card would have to basically have a feet-in-the-air legs-spread kind of picture.
