(It has been a while.)

Yesterday, Coworker Sarah was going on about how much she likes my Jennifer. She was saying that she wished she had a miniature Jen that she could keep in her pocket! (Or something like that. You never know with this girl. She's also said that I should slap myself in the face with fruit leather while screaming, "Mama's been a bad, bad girl.") It always makes me smile when someone tells me how great Jen is or how much s/he likes her. (And it happens a lot, let me tell you.)

Because she /is/ great! She is so amazing and nice and talented and intelligent and diplomatic and wonderful, and I am proud, so proud, of who she is. I'm just so thankful that she's chosen /me/.

And she asked me out on a date! I hadn't gotten a chance yesterday to check my real email from work, so this morning I saw a message asking me to join her for a PBR tomorrow night! Wahoo! A girl, a neighborhood bar, and a Pabst. Life doesn't get any finer, does it Quinn?

p.s. Sean and I had Date Night at Hometown Buffet last night. I went up four times (two dinner, two dessert) and it took me /an hour/ of laying on his bed to be able to move enough to go home. I don't think I've ever felt that stuffed in my life - I seriously considered throwing up! That last hot fudge sundae really did me in. <3 Date Night <3

Well, it's true, Jen is great!

After hanging out briefly at [livejournal.com profile] laserkitty and [livejournal.com profile] thinksnow's wedding reception, Scott said that he had not realized before how intelligent and damned witty she is. *nods*

(I also think he also really likes her because they have similar interests- scifi/fantasy reading etc)

You know, it's /really/ nice that they have similar interests like that... because quite frankly, I don't know JACK about that stuff (nor do I have a taste for it), so it's so cool for her to have someone to talk about that stuff with. :)

Besides, it takes a special man to wear his face on his chest! :)

I had to think about that last part for a second, but then I got it.

And, now that I think about it, you're right! There's not many men who could wear their own face on their chest...

i (a vegetarian) cooked 2/3 pound of bacon for my (underweight) girlfriend the other day, and she ate the whole thing. she smelled like bacon for the rest of the day and i think i saw bacon in her eyes.

That's love. I don't know if I could cook 2/3 pound of bacon for The Girl. You are better than I am.

whoooooooo!!!!!! a day would not be a day without pbr. i almost peed my pants when i read that little paragraph. i recommend drinking six pbrs. especially if you're at the neighborhood bar. something about stumbling home on a thursday night (preferably in the freezing cold) after a night of pbr chugging just warms my heart.

I don't know if I could manage to drink 6 Pabsts tonight. I'm not in the greatest mood and would probably end up a basketcase. But I will think of you with every sip! (That's why you got a mention by name!)

Come on up to Columbus and have some Pabst with me. :)

You know PBR is my grandfather's "good" beer. He drinks Coors light, but on special occasions he goes for the good stuff.
ps. I thought that you were talking about me since you were listing all my qualities, but then I remembered that my name wasn't Jen, and I do not live in Ohio!
Good luck on your date!!

That is so awesome! Of course PBR is the "good" stuff - it is the best, and from 4-7 at Betty's it is 75 cents! What could be better than that??!?!

p.s. You are a hottie with a hot bod and great hair and good writing and a sharp mind and I loooove yoooooo.

suddenly i have that Prince song "Pussy Control" playing in my head :)

but yes yes, it's always nice to be reminded that you've chosen the right person in your life to be with. (and that they chose you, of course)

Funny...as a veggie I can tolerate Hometown Buffet, but can't find enough variety to actually enjoy it.
