Six-Time Champ, Guy is the Ratbutt Supreme

judecorpYes, I won my Super Bowl bet again, sixth year running. This is especially comical because I don't really like football, I don't follow football at all, and I don't know jack about what goes on all season long. So the fact that I have picked the winning team six years in a row amuses me. I wish I was a gambler.
My friend Guy continues to have his Ratbutt bet with me each year (we pick teams, and the winner calls the loser "Ratbutt" for a year), and we alternate picks. It was probably his turn to choose (I always forget), but he gave me the Pats as the Home Town Fave and he likely wanted the Panthers anyway, in their ugly teal uniforms. So yeah, I won. YAY PATS! It was actually quite an exciting game (down to the wire and all), which almost made up for the lack of good commercials and the stupid half-time show. Yeah, there was some boobage but the rest of it sucked. BUT I WON! NO RATBUTT FOR MEEEEEE!

elspazz0's to watch Survivor All-Stars, we bumped into our neighbors that we share walls with (they live in our apartment exactly, but in the other half of the building), and they asked us if we'd heard any noises early Sunday morning. At around 10AM yesterday, I heard a male voice yelling "GOD DAMNIT!" very loudly and I mentioned that, but the neighbor told me that their apartment was robbed overnight, and they lost their stereo/TV equipment, a laptop, and their leather jackets, and that their out-of-town friend's car was also stolen.
Said out-of-town friend was too drunk to drive, according to the neighbor, and crashed in their living room. Neighbor Boy said that the out-of-town friend must have left the door unlocked, and someone came in and stole their stuff while they slept, including out-of-town friend who was sleeping on the sofa near said stereo/TV equipment.
While I feel terrible for my neighbors who have lost their possessions and did not have renter's insurance (DUMB), the whole thing seems very fishy to me. Sure, we live across the street from a bar and /someone/ could have seen three drunken boys stagger home and leave a door unlocked, but it just doesn't seem very likely to me that this would happen /and/ the perp would continue to steal LOTS of heavy things (multiple trips?) while someone was snoring away in the room. I don't like jumping to conclusions about people I don't know, but it just smells to me like the friend had something to do with it. I hope not, because it sucks, but hey. What can you do? I think Jen's a little nervous about our apartment now, but we lock our doors all the time and there's really never any activity that I've seen. *shrug*
This morning, I got in my car and my driver's seat was pushed too far back. I got a little nervous because I haven't driven my car since I got home from work on Friday afternoon, and with the weekend's events I freaked a little bit. On my way to work, while I frantically tried to remember if Jen had moved my car for anything, I realized that my pants cuff had gotten caught on the seat adjusting mechanism when I was getting out of the car on Friday. INSPECTOR JUDE WINS AGAIN!
I can't wait to watch more Survivor All-Stars!
