Grey would be the color...
Feb. 3rd, 2004 10:17 amI filed my taxes last night and should be expecting a little refund in about two weeks, which is a teeny bit exciting. Jennifer's refund is going to her credit card debt, so I'm trying to think of a way to spend the money that benefits both of us so she gets to enjoy some refund, too. I'm thinking maybe a little road trip sometime soonish. We'll have to see.
I officially have zero energy today, and the extended forecast is ennui. It took sheer force of will to get out of bed this morning and I actually contemplating calling out sick to lay in bed. I haven't slept well in several nights and if this keeps up, I'm going to have to start going to Becoming Men Together.
I'm in a quandary about chorus because I'm still unsettled about the music, and now Daina (and probably Brandie too) is going to quit which makes it even less appealing. The weather is grey and rainy and I keep trying to perk myself up by saying, "At least it's warmer and not snowing," but it's not really working. My lunch is heavy on the carbs (it was easy to grab) and that's probably not going to help the energy level in the long run, and my afternoon appointment cancelled on me.
It's an out-of-sync sort of day, I suppose, and I just wish I was home sleeping. Or that I had remembered to bring pop-tarts. Pop-tarts make everything better.

Date: 2004-02-03 03:32 pm (UTC)I had one of those mornings where I woke up refreshed too early, went back to sleep and then woke up at a bad spot in my sleep cycle when the alarm went off. I'm having french fries for lunch and looking forward to it with relish. Not relish on the french fries, tho.
Is there a night this week y'all might be free for some dinner or other fun visit?

Date: 2004-02-03 08:07 pm (UTC)Now I balance it out a bit because my income is higher and because interest rates have been so low. Whee.
As for dinner or whatever... Jen volunteers tonight, I volunteer tomorrow, I work until 8:30 on Thursday. What's Friday like?

Date: 2004-02-03 03:41 pm (UTC)Hope you feel better after lunch... you should go out for coffee, that always makes me upbeat and sort of speedy, of course that is why I rarely drink it!
