judecorp | Waste of a Day

For reasons unknown, I slept late. Really late (for me; not for, say,

lemur68). I woke up at a normal time, putzed around, and then went back to sleep. I woke up around 11 and my Mom called, which was okay for about the first twenty minutes and then I couldn't stand it anymore. I love my mother, but I always get so wigged when I'm on the phone with her, and today I realized why: she talks over me! She will be chatting, and she'll pause so I'll start chatting, and she will start talking while I am still talking! It's infuriating! So finally I told her I had to go.

Jen wanted to make this stew thing in the crock pot, so in lieu of sex, she had to go downstairs and set the meal up because it requires 6+ hours of cooking. I cleaned the bathroom, including the tub, which means I got Soft Scrub With Bleach on my shirt. Dammit! We were going to use the gift card to the Marcus Crosswoods theatre that my mom got for Jen for Christmas, but we have had to stay here to babysit the damned crock pot, because you had to add ingredients at certain times. I am so annoyed with this meal that I don't even want to eat it, even though I'm sure it's good.

So yeah. I didn't leave the house once today, and I absolutely /hate/ that. I feel like I spend so much freaking time working that I should be enjoying my weekends, and I really put a lot of pressure on myself to do fun things. (I know, I'm weird.) On top of that, I've really kind of been having difficulty controlling my emotions for the last couple of days, so I've been a big crabby mess. Apologies to anyone at

rebasayre's house that I may have annoyed. I really did have a good time, I've just been really antisocial.

I am sending mass quantities of psychic messages to

chutup, because I miss her and I want to go to her house to watch "The L Word." We're about three episodes behind, though. Blargh. Call me,
