Crying after sex

Yesterday, as we were finishing up having sex and my Jennifer came back to hold me, I started crying. Not just feeling-like-crying, but with actual tears coming out of my eyes and down my face. This is the second or third time this has happened, usually fairly recently after some ugly argument. It's weird because I don't cry at any other time ever, but give me TEH SNOO SNOO, and on come the waterworks.

Does this happen to anyone else? Wow. What a release.

It used to, but for different reasons entirely. It was when I was still married. My ex would come in, have sex with me (on the occasions he actually did have sex with me) and then leave the room - not realizing how miserable I was, how unsatisfied, how trapped. I would lay there and cry afterwards. I don't think he ever knew.

Yes, that happens to me on occasion, too. After those really big orgasms sometimes I kind of freak and just have to be held really tight until I can breathe again. it's awesome to feel so close to someone that you can be that vulnerable, and have such a release. :)

Awwh, that's sweet.

I'm not sure it's exactly the same for me. I mean, the orgasm was good (woot!) but I can't say it was particularly bigger or crazier or more stunning than some others that didn't result in tears... but it was definitely a needed release. The negative energy and tension and bad feelings had built up so much and it was /so nice/ to get them out of my system.

I'm too uptight for tears on every other occasion. It's not usual for me that I even feel the urge to cry, let alone have tears happen without being able to stop them.

You know how when you're oppressed, it's always the fault of THE MAN? Well, MEN is the plural of MAN; one just isn't enough to oppress everyone. This works kinda like a personification of stupidity and bad luck. All the important concepts are women (Liberty, Justice, etc.), so you need something different to represent the opposite.

Either that, or MEN is totally a collective hallucination;. I know I am.

This happens to me, and I feel stupid about it but I think it's related to stress.

It could be other things too, but I notice that when I am significantly stressed or upset or WAS very recently I cry.

Of course, everyone is different. You like what you like. You cry when you cry.
