Okay, I feel a little bit better about this whole testing thing. This evening I decided that I would take the 50 question practice test in the back of the ASWB Intermediate Examination Study Guide that I reserved from the library. The test in this book followed the actual percentage breakdowns of the actual exam, and this book is put out by the actual test makers. I kicked social work ass for the most part, getting 44 out of 50 correct (88%). Since most states require 70% to pass, I'd say I am in pretty good shape, since I still haven't reviewed my classwork. So, yay.

It's good to have a yay, because the weather today (rainy as hell and 38 degrees currently) is a pretty big boo. As is the freaking new case I got assigned at like 4:00 this afternoon. Again my question is: why load me up with cases they're just going to have to transfer at the end of next month anyway? This is another unruly teenager. Wahoo!

I am closing a case tomorrow. I should be closing another by the end of the week, possibly a third though I think we're going to end up keeping orders when we go to court on Friday. The step-dad on one of my DV cases goes to trial on Thursday, and if they end up locking him up (please please PLEASE), I can close that case, too.
