Date: 2004-05-12 09:29 pm (UTC)Joe has said he will come and help pack the truck.
Eric emailed me and said if he was able to get into town and was not otherwise engaged by his legal issues, he would come and help...
If we can get a few more on the Columbus end I will feel more at ease in case Eric and others can't help or forget or whatever...
On the Boston end, aside from Wiley, Hoo commented that as long as he was in town at the time, he would help and bring a dolly. Just have to double check with everyone else that week I guess...

Date: 2004-05-14 03:54 am (UTC)Our dryer is a lot like this one (http://products.geappliances.com/ProdContent/Dispatcher). It has several temperatures and several dryer settings. It is an electric dryer.
I say "a lot like" because the pictures don't look exactly like ours but the specs are the same, so maybe the website has slightly adjusted models or something. The washer and dryer were also purchased with a 3-year Best Buy warranty, wherein Best Buy will send someone to your house to replace/fix anything - it expires July 1, 2006.
I paid $742 for the washer, dryer, and warranty. Judging by the website, they went up in price a little. (Or we got them on sale.) They have been used for 10 months at a rate of about 2 loads/week.
