General Housekeeping

goddamnelf beat me to my house on Friday, since his trip didn't take as long as he expected. I raced home after my last home visit and Mike and I chilled out until Jen got home. We went to Crap CityTM for dinner and then went back home. I think we watched a movie or something. I know I wasn't feeling very well, which made me a Major Bummer to be around. We went to bed early.
I got up early on Saturday to go to my licensing exam. I felt so much like crap that I asked Jen to fill those antibiotics for me while I was at the exam. I took the exam and passed (unofficially). YAY! I was feeling a little better when I came back, and Jen went to get chinese food for all of us since I really wanted wonton soup for my throat. I took more advil and tried to hold off on taking the antibiotics, since the list of side effects were worse than what I had. Mike and I watched a couple more movies. At night, we ate our leftover food and proceeded to drink and watch more movies. We watched Moulin Rouge and Shrek while I drank an entire bottle of pretty cheap wine. A & A came over and by the end of the night my pitchfork was broken and the room was spinning. I passed out.
Sunday morning I woke up with horrible heartburn (thank you, vinegary wine!). Mike, Jen and I metcalledmara at Cafe Corner for breakfast. Mike and I then went hiking around Old Man's Cave and Cedar Falls, for about 6 miles of good walking. While we were there, Jen was an absolute GODSEND and totally cleaned out my car in prep for sale. She got all of the stickers off the car, washed the car inside and out, armoralled everything, cleaned the windows, vacuumed the car out - it was amazing. She also did the laundry and dishes. <3 Jen <3 She is the best.
When Mike and I got back, we met up withwhirledpeas and for dinner at TGI Fridays. We had a good time and then retired to our apartment where we watched the last episode of Season 3 of QaF (sayonara!) and chatted for a while. We went to bed. Mike left before we woke up. Bye Mike! Thanks for coming to visit! :)
Now comes the major packing and moving work. Ugh!
- I had a good weekend with goddamnelf.
- I passed my licensing exam.
- I don't feel like my left tonsil is going to break out of my skin anymore.
- My Jennifer is amazing.
