Whining and Complaining
May. 27th, 2004 10:40 amOkay, I'm still sick. It's moved from head congestion to lung congestion, which means I do that great hacking-cough sound a lot and can't breathe. I'm paranoid that this will get worse since my health insurance runs out tomorrow. Ugh.
Speaking of tomorrow, I now have a last-minute scheduled meeting for the kid I've gone to court early for two days this week - tomorrow at 8:30 AM. Which means I have to get up early. Again. On my last freaking day of work. Gross.
Yeah, so all of this not-being-able-to-breathe is making me fairly useless in the moving/packing department, because I keep wheezing and coughing. Oops.
And yesterday, our cable modem died. Our cable was scheduled to be shut off on Saturday, and they can't get anyone in to fix it before then, so now we have no internet access at home. Poot. No home internet access until Friday, June 4th.
I had a PPLA (Planned Permanent Living Arrangement) staffing this morning, and it got rejected for things that weren't my fault. This means I have two more transfers to do by tomorrow, for a total of 3. Yay.
BUT, I sold 5 Living Dead Dolls for over $500. That is insane. It's like, as much as we wanted for the washer/dryer. FOR SOME GOTH DOLLS. Some guy in France bought 4 of them. See also: insane.

Date: 2004-06-13 07:51 pm (UTC)We moved to Boston, which is actually where I'm from pretty much. So that's kind of exciting, especially seeing as we've been here for two weeks and I've managed to NOT see my family at all. YAY! But it's nice to know that they're a 45 minute drive away when I /want/ to see them.
Now if we could just get jobs, life would be swell. It's damned expensive out here.
