I'm sayin! It was like that in NYC today too. I was worried that it'd be freaking freezing by the time I got out of work, and I didn't bring a jacket... What the stinkin' heck happened to summer, anyway? Did we cancel it due to the recession or something?
Current temperature in lovely Mayfield Heights, Ohio: 73º. Expected daytime high is 84º, with a nighttime low of 63º.
Kinda looks like you moved in the wrong direction, where weather is concerned. Nonetheless, welcome home.
On an unrelated note, I was reading through some old journal entries last week and discovered what happened to my copy of American Psycho. Seems I loaned it to then-cubemate, now-manager Sharon. I'll have to ask if she's still got it. There's also a copy of Me Talk Pretty One Day sitting on my bookshelf. Sometimes, when I'm playing one of those video games that is likely to make me go out and shoot someone, I feel a burning sensation on the back of my neck. When I turn around, the book is staring at me, and it whispers, "You were supposed to send me to Jude in October. October!"
1. Well, it's supposed to be 90 degrees here tomorrow, so I don't know quite what's up with the weather around here. Today was a beautifully sunny 70 degrees - can't beat that. (Of course, I spent the day in the apartment. I should have ridden my bike or something.)
2. You should send it NEXT October. You know, like you planned it all along!!
are you there, all safe and sound? been sending good vibes your way ... and now, i will send our fabulous sunny 80-degree flawless humidity-free montana days. *poof*
Wow, that weather sounds luxurious. I loved spending my summers in the Sangre de Cristos in New Mexico. There's something about a Rocky Mountain summer that is just fabulous.
p.s. Yes. Safe and mostly sound. You can play Connect The Dots with my bruises!
That's what you get for moving to silly tundra land. It's 90 and humid here in MO. Hopefully, by the time we get back from equally warm Greece, the grass will be scorched enough that it doesn't need cutting every week.
