I have first interviews with direct service agencies tomorrow and Thursday. I had a second interview with City Year yesterday. I have had so many interviews that I'm starting to go cross-eyed. I've probably had 20 interviews by now. Am I so feeble a candidate that I have had all of these interviews and no offers?

Tomorrow's interview is with an early intervention program that works with children under 5 that have developmental or other disabilities. Thursday's is direct service with homeless women. I keep bouncing from interview to interview, job to job. Why is it that all of these agencies are interested in my resume but not ME?

Argh. We have to pay rent tomorrow and still have had no income. This is not very good news.

Yesterday my mother came to visit, which was fun. We went to lunch and then went shopping, where we intended to check out clothes to wear to my brother's wedding but instead ended up just making fun of the really goofy clothes. We got totally burned out on shopping and got the post-beer sleepies, so came home and rotted our brains in front of the television.

The top 3" of our space bed arrived today. 5" to go! (Why they ship separately is totally beyond me.)

And Adrienne should be arriving tomorrow to play with me. OH JOYOUS DAY!

I sent you an email this morning to your old bust.com email address. Let me know if this email address doesn't work anymore and I will forward the message anywhere you want. It has my phone number and stuff on it.

Give me a call when you arrive at South Station and I can tell you where to go. Or I can email you more specific directions. :)
