I got 9 hours of sleep. All praises be to my bed. Mmm. Bed. Nice, comfy bed with pretty zodiacal sheets and my loverly little kitties. I feel lots better. One ear is still crackling, but neither are throbbing. Nose isn't running. No hacking coughs.

Aaron went into my room last night when I was about to go to sleep. He was asking if I wanted him to get me cough syrup. I was amazed how easily the pleasant, 'No, thank you,' came out of my mouth. I was more amazed how easily the thought that I don't want /anything/ from him came to my mind. I'll post on that later.

I leave for my internship in half an hour. Tomorrow I start my new assistantship (and yes, that's what it is for sure, according to the new phone list, that's me, the GAA, yup!). I emailed my boss there to say I was back in Columbus and he wrote back "YIPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEE". Wow. Such enthusiasm. I feel loved!

Moshe emailed me this morning to say that while he was glad I made it back here safely, he missed me. He said something like (this is so Mo, he is such a space cadet), 'I knew that Columbus discovered America but I didn't know he had to take you away from us.' Hee hee, what a nutbag. :)

It's been what? 20 hours or so since I left NY? Only 20? Feels like forever.
