you should keep it as is- maybe an inch longer. long hair is oogy, short hair is cute. but when my hair gets too short i feel too young and pudgy. and i look like bobby hill. and not to be all "establishment" but it makes me feel more professional to have hair. although my own hair is nearly reaching mullet status...
I do agree that I think having a little hair is a wee more professional. Having a little more hair also makes me look more girly which is often more acceptable in the world of work. But the back and sides are getting shaggy so I think I need to at least go have the mop shaped and buzzed in the back.
Having hair is so complicated. When I shaved my head every two weeks, life was so easy.
If I got extensions, I think I would get synthetic braids rather than dreads. I like dreads a lot, but they'd be /really/ unprofessional for work, I think.
