I have some sort of weird back thing going on today. I couldn't sleep at all last night because my normal sleeping position (flat on my back without moving, ever) was really painful and it hurt to take a deep breath (as in, the kind of breaths you take when you're sleeping). Jen thinks I pulled a muscle somewhere but I can't for the life of me figure out how I would have done that, and when. Who knows? All I know is that it had better feel better tonight because I need the sleep.

Tomorrow we're driving to RI, getting my dad and his pick-up, driving with him (and it) to New Jersey, getting some furniture from Jen's parents, driving it to our apartment, unloading it, driving back to RI, parting ways with my dad, getting in the car, and coming back here. Ouch.

I've never had any sort of back issue before. This is really quite annoying, especially the "hurts to breathe" part. Bleh.

There are so many movies I want to see, no money to see them, and we didn't win any passes. Screw you, blockbuster summer season! Damn your black heart!

We are out of milk and I would like some cereal. Boo for me. Also, Swiffer wet is pretty handy. The package says they are safe for wood floors. Is that true? I hope so, because, well, that's what I have. ;)

Haircut today. Phew! Now I can get the back trimmed up and maybe con the person into thinning it out on top. If I'm going to grow it I need it to be thinner, or else I keep looking like I'm wearing a bad toupee. (Which I am, of course. Just don't tell anyone.)

They're safe for wood floors, but if the floor is really dirty, it can end up smearing and you may have to go over it with another Swiffer to get the residue from the first one up. :)

Do you have AAA? Gretchen says you can get discount movie passes from them.

Yes, and it's true! Aaron and I used to get them in M-A-I-N-E spells Fudgie. You can save a buck or two getting tickets from AAA, but you can't use those tickets to any movies that don't allow passes (which kind of bites).

You have to get them at a AAA office. I need to figure out where the nearest one is to here. With AAA, you can also get discount tickets to other things like Six Flags, too.

I dunno how things are up there, but down here, new movies are only "no passes" for a week or two...

Yeah, same here pretty much. Less if the movie is extra sucktacular.

We'll be in Jersey for an hour, tops - just to get to Jen's parents' place, pick up furniture, and escort my dad out of there before he freaks out Jen's folks.

(If we were staying overnight, we would!)

As for your back thing... it could be a pinched nerve-that would explain the hurts to breathe thing. I've unfortunately had similiar episodes-too many to recount and that is what my case is from. Usually it's because of some inflammation in your back. If you can reach and feel it, you'll probably notice some heat emmanating from the area. Best thing you can do is probably some anti-inflammatories (Ibuprofen) or muscle relaxers if you go see your doc. HOpe that helps and I hope you feel better soon!!!
