Yes, I'm watching the finale of For Love or Money. Yes, I am a loser.

Also, I outed myself at work today. Now everyone knows I am totally hooked on these stupid reality television shows. At least I didn't watch /all/ of them. I have never ever seen some of them, like The Amazing Race. However, I did blather on and on about Amish in the City.

It's official. I'm a total loser. And I totally hope that Rachel gets stomped on and doesn't get love OR money.

sean has been trying to get me hooked on "amish in the city". i suppose it's not a bad show, it's just funny that 3 of the amish kids are from ohio. though i guess i did live 30 minutes from amish country so i'm not surprised.

ps. mose rules.

Mose is TEH STUD! We were totally talking about him at work today - I couldn't help it!

I applaud Sean's efforts. It's good to know that the boy still has good taste.

p.s. Miss you!

i know! at first i thought mose was the weirdest of them all but in the end he's the most intelligent and least moronic of the bunch, plus he has a beano stick heh.

miss you too! jealous of boston, columbus doesn't seem to be as fun without you :-/

Come visit come visit come visit and we can take photos! :)

I also love the fact that Mose is still so strong about his beliefs. That is so awesome.

I think we need to pick a show and have a weekly TV date.

What do you say?

i think that's an excellent idea! as it is, i have to sneak in my reality tv watching at times when elias isn't home in order to minimize mockery. love is a great thing. :) what's a good tv night?

I have no clue! I know that Survivor starts in September and I am /so/ looking forward to that, of course. Amish in the City I /think/ is on Tuesdays on UPN. Trading Spouses is also a possibility - it looks so trashy. Do you have any favorites?

i just watch whatever's on. Trading Spouses is pretty damned funny, though I've only seen one episode. I also like any shows where idiots get locked in a house together and have to perform ridiculous tasks, and any shows with midgets are a plus. Oh, also I love Extreme Makeover and the Swan. they're so horrible. believe it or not, i've never watched a season of Survivor, though i plan on tuning in this fall. you have to start at the beginning of the season, otherwise you're just screwed and that's what keeps throwing me off with Survivor.

Well, you will have to start coming over when Survivor 9: Vanuatu starts in September. I am a total Survivor Junkie and we will have so much fun!

Other than that, I just want to see you again so you can tell me all about your trip!

This is nothing to be embarrassed about. I've heard plenty of people discussing their love of reality TV at work. I don't watch reality TV, but I watch plenty of Comedy Central...

I don't get Comedy Central, so I keep my addictions limited to reality TV and Law and Order: SVU. :)

oddly, I can't stand *any* 'Reality' series *except* Amazing Race, which I hardly follow, but unlike the others I'm not likely to turn it off.

This despite auditioning for The Real World in 1996. I could have been the fat chick in Boston! Dammit.

I'm trying to stay away from new addictions. So what happened on FLOM?

Well, Rachel and Andrea came back from the women, and there were 15 men. After the first episode, then men had to choose which woman they felt a stronger connection with. Rachel had 1 more, so Andrea and all the men who picked her had to leave.

Eventually she whittled her way down to one man (Caleb), and he chose her and she chose him.

I just about choked at how cheesy it ended. I now hate the producers, those slime bags. It was as if I had a turd in an IV bag, and it was slowly moving towards me.

*YANK*

*phew*

I watched Amish in the City after reading the review in Newsweek mentioned an Amish character having his back waxed.

I watch such entertaining stuff without cable -- my other big splurge is the WB's Summerland. I totally have a crush on Lori Laughlin.

Hee.

We have basic cable because it gives us an internet discount. I'm so excited! For me, it's like having Big Fancy Cable because last year I could only get CBS on the reception on my TV. There's no way I could have gotten UPN or WB.
