I received an email today telling me I had passes for the free screening of the Director's Cut of Donnie Darko. I loooooove Donnie Darko. However, I had already promised myself I would spend the evening relaxing, answering backlogged e-mails, and cleaning up. So I tracked down

Bad Adam's phone number (thanks,

Saci!) and offered the passes to him, since he is/was also a fan. But the booger said he wouldn't be able to go!

So then I figured maybe I would see if someone could come. If I could find someone, I would take it as a sign to shirk my house stuff and go out. But

Amy couldn't go, or

Shani, or

Crystal! (Although I did con Shani into a date to see Vanity Fair.)

So now I suppose I am going to be responsible after all. I have commenced this responsibility by eating cookies and spoiling my dinner. :)
