You know, I don't really know any Meredith Brooks stuff (except that 'Bitch' song, that's her, right?), but the two songs you've quoted so far, the one up there and the one in your LJ, intrigue me - at least the lyrics do.

So far I only have the one album "Blurring the Edges", the one "Bitch" is on, but I like her stuff. Her sound is that of a mature artist, a woman who's "been there, done that". Her song, "Birthday", is hysterical, about a woman who like goes completely psycho clingy and wants a commitment on like the first date.

Hey, any woman who can use the phrase "This isn't just an oxytocin high" in a song has my eternal allegiance.
