High Water

judecorpWow, it sure is raining. Rain rain rain. I wonder if Morrissey Boulevard is flooded.
I remember that right before I sold my car in Columbus, we had this huge freakish midwestern storm. I was in my car going up Olentangy because this girl was getting my car checked out at a Tuffy on campus. I turned from 5th to Olentangy and a huge thunderclap happened, and then the deluge. And the hail. There were all of these little *tink*s all over my car and all I could think was, "This girl had better buy my car because it'll probably have a million dings tonight." I had to drive through a giant puddle in front of the Lennox and I thought my car would short out.
(I'd never really worried about a car shorting out before until it happened to my old roommate Joanna. Ironically enough, she drove through high water on Morrissey Boulevard.)
See, I guess things really do come full circle.
