I know a weenie man.
He owns a weenie stand.
He sells most everything from hot dogs on down.
Someday I'll join his life.
I'll be his weenie wife.
Hot dog! I love my weenie man!

I also once learned a version of this song specifically tailored to young Mormon girls. I believe they taught it at Girls Camp.

I know a Mormon boy.
He is my pride and joy.
He knows most everything from Alma on down.
Someday I'll be his wife.
We'll have eternal life.
Oh how I love my Mormon boy!

Dear gods, get this musical spawn of Satan out of my head. BEGONE!!

When I am in a Very Silly Mood, I call [livejournal.com profile] vogonpoet 'weenie man' because of that song. *ducks head*

It's one of the midget's favorite songs, too.

That weenie song is real?! Its so.. perverted! Makes me wonder if the Mormon version came first and someone with a sense of humor came up with the other one! ;-)

The first time I heard this was at a picnic in medical school. My buddy Ross sang it to me. YOu do the "I am a Weenie Man" verse with a deep voice first and then dothe falsetto for the Weenie Wife verse.

I couldn't ever sing along because I was laughing too hard at the idea of grownups singing this song at a picnic.

But we did. Oh, how sad my life once was.
Or is.
sigh

Wow, I've never heard the song with a deep-voiced counterpart. I'll have to have you sing it to me sometime. ;)

I have no idea. But I attest that it is, indeed, a real song. (The other comments here prove it!)

It's also one of my favorites. I want to teach it to every child I ever meet.

I think this one is totally innocent. But what do I know? Cause I'm OLD.

Do you remember the many stanzas of the infamous "diarrhea song?" Or,

Milk Milk
Lemonade
Around the Corner
Fudge is Made

True story:

I heard that "milk, milk" song for the first time LAST WEEKEND. I had never ever ever heard it before. And now, twice in one week?

Y'all are nuts.

(However, I do make it a point to sing the diarrhea song at least once a month or so.)
