What's in a name?
Nov. 9th, 2004 05:11 pmDoes anyone want to pay for me to switch my LJ name from smurfchick to judecorp? I'm so tired of smurfchick. It was never supposed to be something that stuck anyway.
When I was interning at Stonewall Columbus, I was doing a lot of research on Out in Columbus and didn't want to make a profile that would easily be identified as me. I was trying to think of some sort of generic pseudonym and came up with "smurfchick." Then when I was signing up for LiveJournal I tried several names, all of which were already taken. (And this was over three years ago! I can't imagine how bad it is now.) So I defaulted to smurfchick.
I dunno. I just don't feel like it suits me or represents me. What do you guys think?
