Drunk Jude strikes again!

I have hereby decided that this is the best drunken picture of me ever. It's from the Halloween party I went to last Saturday night in the City.

I actually forgot that I had taken any pictures at the party until Stefan e-mailed me today to ask for them. So now I have uploaded all of them HERE. (There are only 12 pictures, don't expect much.) I am also quite fond of this group photo, even though it's piss poor quality. (This is what happens when you let drunk people take photos.)

It's always such a blast from the past seeing the old Hofstra gang. I was so glad that Lia decided to show up and grace the party with her presence. Her life is really moving in a different direction these days and she didn't even make it to her own Christmas get-together at the bar last year. I flew in from Ohio and she wasn't even there! So I hadn't seen her in a long time and it was nice to talk with her for a while. And drink.

In non-related news, my dad told me tonight that he sold a piece of land he'd had for a long time. And that when he gets the money for it, it will completely pay off his IRS debt (he got audited last year) /and/ all of the medical debt he incurred when he had his heart attack and bypass surgery in 2001. I AM SO FECKING HAPPY ABOUT THIS!!

In other non-related news, I'm trying these packaged fat-free brownies from No Pudge. I will be sure to tell you all how they turned out. Give me an hour and I will stuff the chocolatey goodness into my mouth. And then I will provide a full report. It's science, I tell you. SCIENCE! (For the record, the No Pudge website is selling the fat-free brownie mixes for $3.25, but you can get your very own for only $1.99 at Trader Joe's.)

Awwwh, thanks! I'm pretty fond of them myself. My whole family has blue eyes, though they all sort of wash out as people age. Both of my parents' eyes are this soupy bluegreengrey color, and for the longest time, mine were the only ones that held out. They were so bright blue. Now they've definitely greyed out some but I still have the best ones in the bunch! :)

I can vouch for the goodness of the brownies. Since I hate cake, I prefer them to regular brownies, even, because they are super gooey.

Actually, I stole wendywoohoo's costume and was an Identity Thief. I had everyone at the party write their identity on a sticker and then I took it and stuck it on myself. :)

Hofstra: why pay less?

Wow. I haven't been to Hofstra since 1993, right after I met jadefu on my Huge Summer Roadtrip of Love™ in Happy Fun Car™. Are those Hofstra TIMsters (that I don't recognize 'cos I met a few of them once like 11.5 years ago) or just other Hofstra folk that you know?

There are no TIMsters in that photo. Well, my roommate Jodie (the dead mobster) was on Trippy and Silly and occasionally TIM as Rizzo, but the others were not internet folks at all.

Most of the Hofstra TIMsters you're thinking of (The_Huntress, Fred_Graham, Snuh, Infinity, Toonces) are several years older than me and graduated when I was a freshman. I met them all, but we didn't hang out.
