DEAR GOD.

It just took me 25 minutes to get from the Shaw's Supermarket on Morrissey Blvd. to the Stop and Shop Supermarket on Morrissey Blvd. They are probably 2 miles from each other. TOPS.

And /why/ did I have to go from one supermarket to the other on the evening before Thanksgiving? Because Shaw's was out of dark brown sugar and Velveeta Light.

And then I came home and discovered a brand new, unopened box of dark brown sugar in the spice cabinet.

*headdesk*

On tap for tonight: put laundry away, clean kitchen, bring up 20lb bag of cat food from car, cook dinner, prepare for tomorrow's baking, make cheesy salsa with leftover Velveeta, fall down.

I need 4oz of Velveeta Light to make a broccoli, rice, and cheese casserole tomorrow (from Cooking Light). Unfortunately you can only buy Velveeta Light in 16oz blocks.

Dude, I totally didn't have the day off, or I would have gone this morning with less people. Instead I hit Shaw's on the way home from my last home visit.

In between home visits today, though, I also went to get more cat food and dropped off Jen's dry cleaning.
