Date: 2004-12-14 08:34 am (UTC)I can't remember the last time I even heard someone mention Fruit Stripe. (Loved the stuff, but my parents wouldn't let me have it as a kid. Too much sugar. We had Trident.) Then I was eating some cherry fruit candies just a bit ago and thinking it tastes a lot like the red candy in Chuckles. So I go poking around to read up on them. Turns out the company that made the candy I was eating now also has the licensing rights to Chuckles.....AND FRUIT STRIPE. It's a dagone conspiracy I tell you.
P.S. The only good 3-2-1 Contact was the original with Marc, Lisa and Trini. The wusses on the mid-80's version were awful.

Date: 2004-12-14 02:47 pm (UTC)But Encyclopedia Brown was perfect for kids with ADD: a series of short challenges instead of one long book. What a great idea! I mean, it could only have been better if it were Encyclopedia Brown Choose Your Own Adventure.
Good times. Good times.
