My holiday shopping is done. Done. DONE!! How exciting. Everything is wrapped and under the tree, and the packages that needed to be shipped are shipped. The cards are written and sent. I need to stop going to stores because I keep buying little presents for Jen. Make it stop!!!

I want to make Christmas cookies sometime. And go to church. I bought myself a little Santa hat and I want to wear it 24/7 until Christmas. Maybe I'll wear it to work.

Speaking of work, no wonder I was so dead this week! I was a Productivity Machine. My weekly target is 23.9 billable hours (requirement is 20). I billed 32. 32 FREAKING HOURS! I must have worked 55 hours this week. UGHness. *dies*

I get a whole weekend with my smoochie since she took the day off for my dad's birthday. We're headed down for dinner at 5. ALL WEEKEND WITH SMOOCHIE! It really doesn't get any better than that!

The problem with overperforming in any one week (this is what I worry about, although mine is measured by month) is that it may give your supervisor a reason to set higher targets/goals and expect you to achieve them.

They don't do that at my work, although I see how it could happen.

The standard at my work is 50% time billed. (You can bill phone calls and stuff, right? We can't.) So that's 20 hours. But then they factor in your vacation time, so it ups your weekly goal (so you can cover yourself when you're on vacation) - since I have 3 weeks vacation this year, my goal is 23.9. Next year I get 4 weeks vacation, so my goal will be a little higher. Whee!

We don't really get busted for being under productivity (I don't think), but we get a $2K bonus at the end of the fiscal year if we reach it.
