I miss Gargamel's CD player. I miss having a CD player in a car I drive around in all day. I miss being able to listen to The Magnetic Fields on the way to home visits. I want to listen to The Magnetic Fields right now, but I'm too lazy to find the CDs.

I really should pull out those 69 Love Songs CDs more often. That part gets me every time. And crena ripped those CDs for me. I miss crena. And happy2beso, who will be 29 in a little over an hour (my time).

Gala has one of these Aiwa's in her Jeep. It has a front plug for easy iPod use and plays MP3s from CD as well. Gala keeps the 'Mother of All Mix CDs' in hers. Crutchfield includes the whole installation kit in that price. I'd be happy to do an installation. (It's always more fun to work on someone elses car.)

Yeah, but the Focus has a totally weird front console and I think that standard sized stereos would look totally weird in them. It's all big and rounded and weird, and I think it's a conspiracy. It has a place to install a CD changer, but right now it's not an expense we can really put out.

I do, however, desperately need my brakes bled. I hope that's all that is wrong, but the car is totally not stopping, and it's starting to freak me out.
