Jen and I had planned a while back to do our Valentine's Day dinner tonight instead of tomorrow, because we weren't sure if she would be able to work early. (She usually closes the store on Mondays.) I decided to go out to dinner dressed in total girl drag tonight - velvet shirt, plaid /skirt/, tights, girly shoes, and even this little dragonfly barrette in my hair. We go to the restaurant, Elephant Walk in Cambridge, nowhere near anyone we know now that Carrie and William have moved to Japan.

We're sitting in a table at the windows facing Mass Ave and I have my back to the windows. Someone starts tapping on the window and Jen tells me to turn around. My coworker, Laura and her husband, Steve are out on Mass Ave waving.

Dear god, I got totally busted in drag and I am never going to hear the end of it at work.

I wanted to let you know that you and your excersizing has inspired me.

I'm not really excersizing, but I am getting one of those excersize balls. My trainer ( when I was excersizing...) told me that just sitting on those things improves your posture and strengthens your core muscles. The next step is actually joining a gym. Ugh.
