My job is very interesting. I get to drive around all the time sitting on people's floors and playing with their babies and toddlers. I get to facilitate a playgroup for lots of toddlers to run around and beat me up. I get to listen to people tell me all about how their children don't speak but watch 6+ hours of television per day. I get to clean yogurt, boogers, and drool off my clothing on a daily basis. I get exposed to wonderful friends like the coxsackie virus, the whooping cough, scarlet fever, and today's joy, shingles.

All this for a (very) low fee!

Oh, well, if you ever want some extra chillun's - of the canine sort, naturally, mine are for rent. Also at a very low cost (i.e., we'll pay you!).

Our insurance rates for a single person are... okay. I think I pay something like $30/week for my insurance, which is an HMO (yuck) but has no deductible (yay). Family coverage, however, is /ridiculous/, which is why we get our insurance separately.

I had a kid with rickets. I actually just discharged him because his Mom said she wasn't up to continuing with Early Intervention. But rickets isn't contagious, so it doesn't count. :)

I wish I could have a dog! But our landlords would die, and besides, I'm gone too much for a dog.
