Friday night we went out to a spontaneous dinner of too much sushi and talked about timelines and donors and doctors and plans and houses and everything was so grand. I could have died of happiness.

This morning I feel like I got baited into an argument, I feel like crap, I'm sitting home doing a million chores, and then I will go shovel snow. Hunter S. Thompson killed himself and it's just plain a sad day.

Aaah, life. You're so ridiculous sometimes. Can't you, you know, be /even/ for just a weekend?

yeah i feel like this snow is that meal at a restaurant that the waitress delivered but you didn't really order and you're like forced to eat it anyway because you're already running late regardless...

i'm so metaphorical today. don't mind me

Thankfully I'm not all that bothered by the snow today (because there really isn't any), but having this chest cold is really really lame. I'm taking a day off from the gym to hopefully stop the stupid coughing. Yuck!

Life is a tetherball. No matter how diligent you are at hitting it correctly, it always turns around to smack you in the back of the head.

Ha! So true, so true.

Are you enjoying your day off?

Yes, actually. I'm cleaning a lot more than I had wanted to - I had planned on laundry, shower and reading (not in that order!). But I'm still relaxing and enjoying my day. I am especially enjoying the fact that I do not have to be out in the snow. How about you?

Very productive.

I'm working on all the laundry, conquered the dishes, loved on some cats, went to the Pru to meet Ms. J for din-din, and even scrubbed up some time to watch some Maury Who's-Your-Daddy? this morning. (I did, however, deal with snow.)

Good times.

Yeah...one minute we're picking out names and talking about moving furniture around for a nursery and the next minute we're arguing about how soon is too soon. *banging head against a wall*

I just need a baby already.
