Nothing of importance

I had three more cancellations today. That makes seven cancellations, one no-show, and one cancelled group. In one week. And it's only Wednesday. Tomorrow I have supervision, group, and then three back-to-back appointments. I'd say "they'd better not cancel!" but at this point it doesn't even matter. I picked up two new cases today - hopefully they will be nice, consistant families that don't cancel.

I really REALLY want something delicious and bad for you right now. Like cake. Or ice cream. Or cake AND ice cream.

I wish I had something important to say but I'm totally coming up empty. That woman I asked to be my mentor basically told me she had no suggestions for me other than looking in Bay Windows for classifieds. So that was a bust. Daedalus keeps attacking Ralph and that is ticking me off. I need to change the calendars to March.

I think it astonishes me how many of these families cancel, considering that you're there to help their children. That says a lot about either their parenting, or the huge pressures on them as parents and employees and everything else. Interesting.

Well, to a lot of their credits, it was just a wonky week. Most of the cancellations were for totally legit reasons like being sick, having a dental emergency, a death in the family, etc. Some of the other chronic cancellation people, though... yeah - I think they partly have too much on their plates and partly don't see EI with the same respect as, say, a doctor appointment.

that sucks about they lady from training; i thought she'd have something of importance to give you. it also sucks because i myself am looking for a BGJ and was going to mooch off of your findings :)
