My uncle G.W. (which stands for George Washington) says 'googlin vein' (pronounced like the verb associated with the search engine) instead of jugular vein. It kills me dead.
oh, and she always calls me by my sister's name. and spells my name wrong. for our wedding gift she gave us this hideous glass serving platter that said "scott and pattie, march 22, 1997".
My brother is always making fun of people who pronounce things wrong... and why do SO MANY PEOPLE pronounce Wal-Mart incorrectly? My brother has decided he should go around correcting people incorrectly... as in, "Umm, don't you mean 'Wal-MARK'?"
i was just talking to brad and he was reminding me of some of the fun stuff he would hear in his ER days such as "chicken pops" and "spinal men-in-jesus".
My roommate, the erstwhile pak_man78, has a curious speech impediment.
I have told him, untold times, that the lowbrow British accent is 'cockney.' (It may in fact be capitalized in proper usage; I haven't a clue.)
Cock. Knee.
Still, he _insists_ on mispronouncing it as 'cog-nee' and thinks he can get away with it. It would be charming, if I hadn't corrected him half-a-dozen times. To his face. In the company of others.
I just bet he has tons of luck asking his girlfriend to suck his cog.

It's a contraction of "ain't it?"
As in: "That's a nice dress, aina?"
Coolest word _ever._ Never heard anyone else use it.
