Blah blah blah
Mar. 21st, 2005 09:50 pmI'm back on the gym wagon after an extended absence due to the wake, Amy's birthday, a walk on the beach, and a lazy weekend with a cold. It felt good to be back, though, and I feel better this evening because of it. So, yay.
I've eaten so much crap in the last couple of days, including reese's cups for dinner on Saturday and ice cream for dinner last night. I had ice cream tonight too, actually (but not for dinner). I just fool myself into dressing it up with strawberries and reminding myself that it's "light" ice cream. Look, it's healthy! ZING!
Somehow, though, in the midst of all of this madness, I've managed to lose 2 more pounds. That's 8 pounds now. This Metformin stuff has some sort of weird skinny mojo in it or something. Bizarre.
Productive day today: 4 home visits, a quick jaunt home to kiss kitties, up to the doctor for my second HepB shot, then to the gym for an hour. I caught some guilty pleasure (Nanny 911) and now a painful Lifetime movie about a girl who had a baby at 16. Good times. I should probably take out the garbage or something. Maybe next commercial. Going to the gym felt good but it's almost made me sleepy. Of course, I'd probably feel less sleepy if I would stop waking up with the birds at 6am.

which is a strange way of saying that i cant recall what i said to myself that was doing friday. prolly nothing. which is to ask if that is a better day for hanging than sat night.
Jean Pierre Jeunet anyone?

Date: 2005-03-22 11:44 am (UTC)I tried catching a few winks when Nanny 911 was on, and what with all the squealing bellyfruit on that show, it just wasn't happening.
