You are so funny, because I have been to like, all of four or five concerts in my LIFE. Two were Aerosmith.

Wow, concerts are /so/ my favorite things ever. I love live music. I could care less about CDs, just give me concerts! Wahoo!

I have seen none of those. Though I wish I would've seen the Dead Milkmen....

You, Van Halen??

Isn't that awesome? In the time it took me to renumber and unspace this list, I decided to replace Van Halen (though it was Sammy Hagar VH) with Happy Chichester for fun.

I did indeed see VH in Massachusetts in 1993. My mother and her husband gave their two extra tickets to me and my high school boyfriend because the couple they were going with backed out at the last minute or something. Guess who opened? VINCE NEAL!! It was so effing surreal.

Hahah when Bert and I saw Poison, Vince Neal opened. Poor guy. He's been on the "opening" circuit for a long time.

You didn't put the Violent Femmes...your favorite-ever-with-me-concert.

From: [identity profile] judecorp.livejournal.com
Yeah, I didn't put The Pixies either, which was totally phenomenal. And the Psychedelic Furs show I caught the other year that rocked. I must be getting forgetful in my old age. I /looooooooooooooved/ that Violent Femmes concert.

Miss you!

p.s. Just to make you jealous I will tell you that I've seen the Dead Milkmen whole handfuls of times, and in my gutterpunk teenage years I actually became quite friendly with Joe the guitarist/singer. He would let me get reeeeeal close and take pictures of the band (like, from stage) and I would mail them to him. And he wrote me a couple of letters, real handwritten letters, when I was in college.

No, but you've seen the Bacon Brothers more times than any other person in the whole world!

But they are gooooooooooooood!

Hehe. OMG - I met the most disturbing dude at the last Bacon Brothers show. He had never seen them live but had memorized all kinds of creepy stalker trivia about them. He was so scary.

My love for The Bacon Brothers isn't stalkery at all. Just enthusiastic!

I was walking around my apartment two nights ago thinking:

The house is a mess Jack,
The kids are a mess Jack,
You're a mess Jack.

But you were asleep so I couldn't call and tell you. :) And William would just look at me like I was losing it.

Awwwh, I love that movie so much! You want to talk about the beard? The beard is in its transitional stage. When it comes in, it's gonna look great.

That list could be way too long for me. Does it count if I saw the concert because I was working at it? If so, the list goes on and on and on.

Date: 2005-04-11 08:18 pm (UTC)

Yeah, but you have to stop at 20. I could have gone on for a long while, too. :)

So make your own list!

Swing and down

This is kind of sad. I haven't seen anybody on that list.

My sister saw NKOTB, though. My mom even drove her and one of her friends around Winston-Salem, looking for the hotel the band was staying at.

Awesome. Does she still remember it fondly? I have a whole host of NKOTB memories and I cherish every single dorky one of them.

Yes she does. I'm sure she remembers the posters all over her walls; I certainly do.

I've also got her high school picture from that era, but I've pretty much agreed not to show it. :)
